rwec > We had one last day, and we spent it in Bangkok. Erik noticed that we don't have one of these in the USA.

rwec > In December 2006 Thailand had a military coup. This December, the government is allowing elections and there are campaign posters everywhere. Candidate #15 is Erik's favorite.

rwec > 7-11s really are everywhere. Here are two across the street from each other.

rwec > We didn't really do the tourist thing in Bangkok. Instead, we went to our friend Laurie's private club, where we had lunch, a soak in these hot and cold pools...

rwec > ...and each had a two-hour massage. It was a perfect, relaxing way to end our trip.
